Aimee Allison, a journalist, writer, and activist, is the Co-Executive Director of RootsAction, a new online initiative dedicated to galvanizing millions of Americans who are committed to economic fairness, equal rights, civil liberties, environmental protection, and defunding endless wars. She currently hosts specials for LinkTV and previously hosted Comcast Newsmakers on CNN Headline News and the KPFA Morning Show. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, she founded the local news site OaklandSeen in 2009.
