
Bill Twist is the co-founder of the Pachamama Alliance, which works with indigenous Amazonian groups on issues such as land rights and sustainable development. The Pachamama Alliance (roughly translated, Pachamama means “our own Mother Earth”), which seeks to protect both the culture and the land of indigenous people, has an office in California and one in Ecuador.
