Cole, MSc, an activist, author, and consultant with 15 years’ experience, founded (in 2010) the Brown Boi Project, a groundbreaking program that bridges gender and racial dialogues-the first of its kind to bring queer and straight people of color across the masculine spectrum to do transformative change work. Her most recent writing can be found in the 2011 anthology: Persistence: All Ways Butch and Femme. A Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar, Coro Fellow, and recipient the Spirit of Delores Huerta Award, Cole has worked across the U.S. and internationally on issues of gender, leadership development, and economic opportunity.
