
Janelle Orsi is the Director of the Oakland, CA-based Sustainable Economies Law Center (SELC), which facilitates the growth of more sustainable and localized economies through education, research, and advocacy by supporting such practices as: barter, sharing, urban agriculture, local currencies and investing, and cohousing; and such institutions as community-supported enterprises and cooperatives. She is also a private practice attorney specializing in cooperatives and cohousing and the co-author of two books: The Sharing Solution and Practicing Law in the Sharing Economy.
