Jim Sheehan spent twenty years as a public defense attorney in Washington State when he received a windfall inheritance that changed his life. Since then he has sought to help transform the lives of others through projects such as the Center for Justice, a nonprofit law firm dedicated to protecting the environment and democracy, and providing justice for the underserved; and the Community Building, a home for progressive ventures in Spokane, Washington.
