James Gollin‘s first career was in Japanese finance, but he transitioned into socially responsible business and then to service on non-profit boards. He is currently President of Rainforest Action Network’s board, where he promotes market-based environmental campaigns. He also works with the Democracy Alliance helping incubate long-term progressive political infrastructure and with the Angelica Foundation, which supports environmental, pro-democracy and human rights groups in Mexico, focusing particularly on ending drug war violence.
